This workshop is now full.
Fadi BouKaram’s photography focuses on telling the hidden stories of communities through candid street photography. The first session of this two-part workshop will introduce the basics and history of street photography followed by hands-on lessons. Participants will then use techniques learned to shoot subjects of their choosing before returning for the second session, which will focus on sharing and discussion of participant work.
No experience required – just bring a camera of any type (mobile phones ok!) and your imagination.
This event is part of The Cedar Tree Project. Throughout the 2018-2019 season, the Cedar Tree Project explores identity through the lens of Arab and Arab American artists. Curated by Winona dance/visual artist Sharon Mansur, events will include performances and exhibitions as well as workshops and community gatherings with visiting artists.
