Page Series: Adonis Puentes and the Voice of Cuba Orchestra

Adonis Puentes and the Voice of Cuba Orchestra open up the marvelous world of Cuban music through rich vocals and tight, multilayered arrangements including guitar, tres, piano, bass, trumpet, and percussion. The band’s lively Son and Salsa melodies will transport you from Minnesota winter to the dance halls of Havana!

The fun starts at 6 p.m. in the Ben Miller Lobby as members of Saint Mary’s Ballroom Dance Club offer free salsa dance lessons in the Ben Miller Lobby. Learn some basic salsa moves and get in the spirit for the evening’s performance as you peruse photographs of Cuba taken by Gary Diomandes and Eric Heukeshoven. Tickets are not required to attend the pre-show events.
