Show Details:
Do you love the idea of performing in an ensemble of professional actors? Does being outdoors invigorate you? This September, the Page Series and TigerLion Arts will present the beloved walking play Nature ~ the outdoor telling of Emerson, Thoreau and their mutual love of the natural world. This play is written and created by Minneapolis-based actor Tyson Forbes (a direct descendant of Ralph Waldo Emerson) and director/producer Markell Kiefer.

This is an incredible opportunity for a young aspiring actress (and her family) to be a part of a truly unique professional production and community of artists. It is possible that we will cast two actresses who alternate performances, to lessen the time commitment for participating families. The actress will participate in all on-site rehearsals, and receive script, video, and coaching (via Skype and/or in-person) in advance as well. This extraordinary piece is challenging and fulfilling both artistically and physically. The performing company is composed of a Minneapolis- based ensemble of professional actors and musicians, along with a locally recruited Community Chorus.

Please visit the Nature Website for more details, and photos and video of the production. Photos can also be found on TigerLion Arts’ Facebook page HERE.
